Body Shop Estimator

Put your love of organization and detail, your ability to manage a busy work load and your knowledge of automobiles to good use as a Body Shop Estimator at Robert's Auto Repair, Monterey's premier auto shop in beautiful Monterey.

You will  have the honor of:

    1. Creating accurate written estimates for crashed vehicles per Insurance Company Guidelines.
    2. Assisting  the Body Shop Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of the Body Shop.
    3. Promoting a positive attitude and be a part of a cohesive team.
    4. Establishing and maintaining great working relationships with customers.
    5. Handling customer concerns with a high level of  satisfaction.
    6. Establishing and maintaining great working relationships with insurance companies.
    7. Communicating well with our Production Manager
    8. Documenting all work on repair orders, with proper flag sheets and inspection notes.
    9. Being responsible for the performance and accuracy of all estimates.
    10. Follow up with customers to ensure repair satisfaction.
    11. Auditing in-progress and completed files.

If you have amazing customer service skills, a basic knowledge of automobiles, are able to work under pressure, have a clean driving record and are confident with computers, this job is for you.

College degree preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Salary is $13- 24 per hour DOE. Medical and Vacation Benefits are available.

    4. Handling breakdowns and deadlines.
    5. Managing a high volume of cars.
    6. Communicating well with our Estimator.
    7. Using your great verbal skills to communicate in daily production meetings.
    8. Being responsible for detail lists and deliveries.
    9. Making decisions, prioritizing and creating urgency.

Front Desk/Estimator Assistant

Are you that crazy person who needs everything organized, craves detail AND loves talking with people?  Then you can be the face of Robert's Auto Repair, Monterey's premier auto shop as our Front Desk/Estimator Assistant.

You will  be able to :

  1. Make each person comfortable by properly greeting them and checking their vehicles in and out.

  2. Answer multiple phone lines, be friendly and direct their calls.

  3. Accurately create physical and efiles.

  4. Create and update our database, spreadsheets and calendars.

  5. Accurately process payments and related paperwork.

  6. Shuttle customers in a friendly manner.

  7. Process and send our rewards cards.

  8. Follow guidelines to meet insurance criteria.

  9. Handle a busy desk, interruptions, odd jobs and a fast moving environment.

If you have amazing customer service skills, a basic knowledge of computers (database and spreadsheet entry) and love talking with people, being around cars, have a clean driving record and are detail oriented, this job is for you.

Salary is $9-13 per hour DOE. Full time. Must be available for shifts that start early or stay late.(7:30 - 5:30)  Medical and Vacation Benefits are available.
