Personal Lines Account Manager

  • Are you a people person who loves sales and service to retain and grow personal lines insurance customers?
  • Are you enthusiastic to communicate with clients and carriers about Policies, Claims, Billing, and Renewals?
  • Do you live to research, cross sell, process, confidently and confidentially make recommendations in a fast paced environment?

You will use your skills to:

  • Work with new walk-in and phone-in customers
  • Quote new and renewal insurance policies
  • Quote, present and upsell renewing customers
  • Communicate with carrier companies, provide information and manage underwriting issues, and claims.
  • Maintain electronic files in our management system
  • Document all communication
  • Adhere to a STRICT confidentially policy
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers for our customer’s benefit

Position Requirements:

  • 3 years of customer service experience is a plus but we will train the right person.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, and personable in a fast paced environment with various projects, tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite, navigating websites and proprietary databases.
  • You must be local, able to reliably work M-F from 9AM to 5PM, 35 hours per week

Hours and compensation, including bonuses and benefits:

This is a full time position. $33 - $45,000 DOE. Financial bonus incentives. 2 week paid vacation. Health insurance - 70% of individual plan 401K available.
