Office Manager and Administrator
Are you excited about managing the office of a property management company?
- Do you love working with QuickBooks, Accounts Payable, and reporting?
- Are you excited about managing bank accounts, and tracking credit card expenses?
- Are you thrilled to prepare government compliance paperwork and forms for inspections, and administer city and county compliance?
Then become an Office Manager and Administrator for Granite Gate Property Management
This is your opportunity to have a flexible office position with a full-service leader and be the hub of a small but busy office.
Use your skills for:
- Bookkeeping
- Correspondence of all kinds
- Sorting and handling inquiries from tenants, clients and prospects
- Organizing and preparing agreements, forms and documents
- Auditing and checking files for accuracy
- Creating Excel documents and reports
- Responding to and researching vendors and maintenance needs
- Answering phones, managing supplies, and being responsible for any and all office tasks as they arise
What you must arrive with:
- Complete bookkeeping abilities including Quickbooks
- Understanding of trust account management
- Know your way around MS office suite including Excel
- Excellent written communication
- Superior attention to detail and compliance
- A willingness to be interrupted and be flexible
- Ability to organize the disorganized
- Experience with Appfolio is a plus
This job is 25 +/- flexible hours per week at approximately $20 per hour DOE
Maintenance Technician
Are you a fix it guy? Don’t want to work for yourself? Ready to have it easier working part time for a property management company?
Do you enjoy:
- Inspecting and repairing appliances, fixtures and all things rental property?
- Servicing and overseeing maintenance of all types?
- Handling loads of different situations on lots of different properties?

You can become a Maintenance Technician for Granite Gate Property Management
Use your detail, fix it skills to:
- Handle tenant and owner maintenance calls promptly and efficiently
- Painting, small electrical, small repairs, drywall, replace fixture, outlets, toilets, fence, appliances,
- Understand when to outsource to other vendors.
- Fix and replace garbage disposals, toilets or other fixtures.
- Document in writing all jobs, supplies and parts
What you must arrive with:
- Your own tools
- Your own vehicle and clean DMV
- The ability to pass a drug test
- Spanish is a plus
- A contractor's license will earn you more
This job is 15 -20 hours +/- flexible hours $ 20- $39 DOE
Property Manager
Do you live to be the “go to” person for diplomatically solving problems and creating great outcomes for renters in Davis and Sacramento?

- Making sure that real estate law, leases, contracts and fair housing laws are adhered to?

You can become a Property Manager for Granite Gate Property Management
Use your organizational and people skills to:
- Handle tenant concerns, timely correspondence, maintenance calls
- Creatively solve problems with owners and tenants
- Manage and assign vendors and follow up
- Create and maintain a data base of maintenance professionals
- Screen for compliance: insurance requirements, commercial liability, etc.
- Resolve and prioritize maintenance needs for resolution
- Show available properties to prospective tenants.
- Organize and manage any building owner concerns
- Inspect property conditions and for needed repair
- Move in and move out meetings with tenants at properties
- Data entry, scan, upload and manage electronic filing of leases, property condition forms
- Follow-up with every and any project or task
What you must arrive with:
- A real estate license
- An understanding of real estate law, leases, contracts and fair housing laws
- The ability to work with interruption and flexibility
- Experience with Appfolio is a plus
This job is 20 to 35 flexible hours per week with some weekend hours as needed.
$20- $25 per hour DOE
